Mr. Lahr has expertise in remedial designs, specializing in soil/cement bentonite barrier walls, in situ stabilization of soils and wastes, in situ treatment of groundwater, and groundwater recovery systems. Additional designs have included DNAPL recovery wells, trenches and shallow sumps, soil excavation, surface impoundment closure, and riverbank reconstruction and armoring. He has managed the closure at a former coal fired electric generating facility complex. This included the cap design for a CCR impoundment.
